Flood Advisory Includes Salisbury
The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday due to heavy rains.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for small streams until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday due to heavy rains.
Motorists should pay particular caution on Keystone Avenue and other roads next to the Little Lehigh Creek.
The advisory is for Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Monroe and Carbon counties.
Doppler Radar has indicated showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall extending from Berks to Northampton counties, the National Weather Service states.
The showers are expected to bring possibly up to two inches of rain in some parts.
The National Weather Service advises motorists not to drive their vehicles into areas where water covers the roadway and to move to higher ground where possible.

IF your basement EVER needs to be pumped out, please remember (per FEMA) : "1/3 a day," only. This is to keep a counter-pressure against basement walls, so they don't cave in from rain-soaked ground.
