Hunter Finds Skeletal Remains in Salisbury Township

An autopsy will be conducted on the skeletal remains of an unidentified man found in a wooded area off the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Drive, Salisbury Township.

An autopsy will be conducted on the skeletal remains of a man discovered Wednesday by a bow hunter in a wooded area south of the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Drive in Salisbury Township, according to Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim.

The man, whose identity is unknown, had been dead "in excess of six months," Grim said. It is unknown how the man died, he said.

The man was wearing blue jeans, a red Ralph Lauren short-sleeve Polo shirt and a zippered hoodie sweatshirt, he said.

Salisbury Township police were investigating the area after the hunter reported the human remains at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The autopsy will be conducted Thursday, Grim said.

The coroner would like anyone with information to contact his office at 610-782-3426.
