Lehigh Valley Company Adding 500 Jobs
Westport Axle in Lehigh County announced this week that it is expanding and adding more than 500 manufacturing jobs
Kentucky-based Westport Axle announced this week that it is expanding and bringing more than 518 jobs within three years to a 516,800-square-foot warehouse facility, located next to Amazon.com at 650 Boulder Drive in Breinigsville, Upper Macungie Township, according to a report in Lehigh Valley Business.com.
The report said Westport Axle, which located in the Valley earlier in the year, will make improvements, equipment purchases and provide training. The company expects to invest more than $5 million in the site, the report said.
The report said the company began its operations in 1986 and has grown into manufacturer of sub-assemblies for the automotive industry.

@Blackdemon- lame attempt to politicize job creation. Next thing you'll try to attributite this company's expansion to Romney somehow, like when he tried to take credit for saving the auto industry even tho he wrote an op-ed how they should be left to go bankrupt. Honestly, anyone who can't truly get what president Obama was trying to say about the role of government in the creation of our infrastructure and how it supports job creation and prosperity is just dim.
