NASCAR Driver Tony Stewart to Help Salisbury Schools, KidsPeace
NASCAR driver Tony Stewart will sign autographs and present school supplies to area schools and organizations Thursday at the Office Depot in South Whitehall.
Salisbury Township School District and KidsPeace will be among the local beneficiaries of school supplies when NASCAR driver Tony Stewart visits the Office Depot in South Whitehall on Thursday, Aug. 2, as part of the company's back-to-school initiative to help needy youngsters.
Stewart is partnering with the Office Depot Foundation to present sackpacks and school supplies to several area non-profit organizations and schools as part of its National Backpack Program.
Stewart will sign autographs for 300 fans from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., following the presentation at the Office Depot, 480 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. Wristbands will be required and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the Office Depot store beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2.
Fans with a wristband must be in line no later than 5:15 p.m. to receive an autograph.
