Salisbury Appoints Superintendents

Salisbury School District Assistant Superintendent Louise Beauchemin was named acting superintendent and Randy Ziegenfuss was named assistant superintendent for teaching and learning.

Salisbury Township School District Assistant Superintendent Louise Beauchemin will serve as the acting superintendent for three months beginning July 1, while the school board begins its search for a new superintendent.

Beauchemin will temporarily fill the position held by the late Superintendent Robert Gross, who died May 30. She is scheduled to retire in October.

The board named Randy Ziegenfuss, the former director of data and technology, to be the assistant superintendent for teaching and learning, a newly created position. Ziegenfuss will earn $110,000.

Lynn Fuini-Hetten, an instructional coach at Salisbury Middle School, was named supervisor of instructional practice for a year. She will earn $82,250. She will work with Ziegenfuss on VAST, the Virtual Academy of Salisbury Township, the district's new cyber school.
