Fifth-graders at The Swain School in Salisbury Township have been participating in a project called "Education for All" that has ranged from talking by Skype to students in Buenos Aires to volunteering at Community Services for Children in Allentown.

Students in classes taught by Erica Coverley, Lisa Young, Kylie Miller and Christine Parente have researched literacy rates around the world and brainstormed ideas about how to improve literacy in their own communities. The program is an initiative of the National Association of Independent Schools.
