Tell Us: Will Corbett Win a Second Term?
Gov. Tom Corbett has encountered plenty of controversy during his first term in office leading to speculation about his potential to be re-elected.
A recent poll shows many Pennsylvanians support Gov. Tom Corbett's lawsuit against the NCAA over Penn State sanctions, but they are less enthusiastic about the way Corbett handled the university's child rape scandal.
An editorial by the Harrisburg Patriot News opines that Corbett won't earn a second term as a result of his controversial moves on issus such as electroral college politcs and mandatory vaginal ultrasounds for any Pennsylvania woman seeking an abortion.
Corbett did see a bump in his ratings after Hurricane Sandy.
A conservative activist notes that Corbett even needs to improve his standing among Republicans if he wants to be re-elected in 2014. Fresh ideas that win broad support will be key for Corbett, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer piece published Sunday.
So what do you think? Will Corbett win a second term? What should he do this year to improve his standing? Tell us in the comments section below.

I don't think he could win a primary or general election against pretty much anyone. I think my dog could beat him, although my dog is really cute.

I wouldn't bet on him making it through the primary and please, don't pin Tom Corbett on the Tea Party.
He is not and never has been a Conservative and he has never been embraced by the Tea Party.

He gave our State away to the energy companies. He gave the lottery away to a private company. Every since he was attorney general, he has accepted money from every lawyer and lobbyist who has anything to gain from exploiting the State. Why would anyone vote for him?

I completely agree, Nancy. Pure evil.... he succumbs to almost every deadly sin out there, especially greed, pride and gluttony.

He won't get a primary challenge. If the Democrats run anyone but a far left liberal they've got a great chance to win.

He's worse than Rendell, which I didn't think was possible.

He is evil....don't vote for him. He also makes so many cuts to areas in which we need help so that he can have brand new SUVs driving his fatness around. He has gained much weight since becoming governor....and I have two rules in life: 1. Never trust a skinny chef, and 2. never trust a fat politician.
