Two people were killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash on MacArthur Road in Whitehall on Saturday evening, according to reports on mcall.com and wfmz.com

A car turning right onto MacArthur Road from Eberhart Road was struck by a pickup truck traveling north at a high rate of speed about 6 p.m., according to the reports. The car caught fire and the two people in the car were killed.

The identities of those killed have not yet been released.

MacArthur Road (Route 145) was closed for hours.
