The youth group of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon will be collecting donations of:
- clothing (children’s and adults’, all sizes)
- accessories (hats, belts, scarves, backpacks, purses, ties)
- household items (blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, table cloths, curtains, etc.)
- toys (hard and soft toys, stuffed animals, games, etc.)
Donations will be sent through A&E Clothing Corporation to be disbursed to families in need in developing countries; in return, the CLCLS youth group will receive 13 cents per pound of donations, which will be used to fund their upcoming trip to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA.
Items must be clean and in wearable/useable condition, bagged in plastic grocery or garbage bags, and can be dropped off on Saturday, July 7, and July 14 from 9am-11am. For more information, contact the church office (610) 838-7370; or coordinator Emily Doll (perkypenguin731@aol.com).

More About Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon
Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon offers both contemporary and traditional worship services in a historic stone church located on Easton Road. It is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Built in 1873, the church is one of the oldest religious buildings still in use in Lower Saucon Township. Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon operates the School House Christian Pre-school in a small building located opposite the church, which is adjoined by a playground. A cemetery surrounded by a low stone wall is also opposite the church. The church's pastor is Rev. Lisa K. Borrell.

I think this is nice...but what about local organizations that need help... we need to start thinking more US based.
