Tuesday in Salisbury: First Day of School and Free Fair Admission
High school and youth sports are also on Tuesday's calendar.
Tuesday, Aug. 27, is expected to feature partly sunny skies with chance of showers after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Here is what's going on in and around Salisbury Township:
- It's the first day of school for all Salisbury School District students Tuesday, so please be careful driving in school zones. Here's a refresher in what do to and what Pennsylvania laws are when a school bus stops.
- The Great Allentown Fair begins its annual run at the Allentown Fairgrounds. Admission to the fair is free all day and night Tuesday. Click here to see more information from Patch on fair attractions.
- The Salisbury High School boys varsity soccer team will scrimmage Liberty at Salisbury High School at 4 p.m.
- Salisbury Youth Association Soccer gets underway with games at 5 p.m. at Harry S. Truman School field.
- Over at Sands Bethlehem, Tower Suite & Friends entertain at the Molten Lounge, beginning at 7 p.m.
