Education Event and Resource Fair on MS To Be Held October 12 at DeSales University

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS Society and Lehigh Neurology of Lehigh Valley Health Network are sponsoring a program for people with progressive MS and their loved ones. “Progressive MS: The Road Ahead” will be held Saturday, October 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at DeSales University.

            The Program features two presentations:

  • “Strengthening Family Resilience,” by David Rintell, EdD, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital
  • “Research Avenues for Progressive MS,” by Gary Clauser, MD, co-director, Lehigh Neurology

The presentations will be followed by a resource fair where attendees will be able to connect with agencies and providers that can assist them in finding solutions to the challenges of living with MS. More than a dozen agencies will be exhibiting.

The event is free and open to people living with MS and one guest. A continental breakfast and light snacks will be provided. To register, call 1-800-FIGHT-MS (option 1) by October 10.
