1.    "THE KING'S SPEECH"

2.  SNOWBLAST WINTER FESTIVAL

Where/When:   Emmaus; Friday, February 4 and Saturday, February 5;

Why Go:  Celebrate this miserable winter (and you just might end up having fun). The icetini at the Emmaus Main Street Program Ice Bar on the Triangle helps. Opening ceremony 5 p.m. Friday. www.snowblastwinterfestival.org. 484-201-0026

3.    "THE CEMETERY CLUB" 

When/Where: The Pennsylvania Playhouse, 390 Illicks Mill Road, Bethlehem; Saturday, February 5, 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 6, 3 p.m.

Why Go: A comedy about three Jewish widows from Queens who meet once a month at the cemetery to pay their respects to their late husbands.  Great local theater.

Pricing: $22; $19 student and seniors

4.  BETHLEHEM RESTAURANT WEEK

When/Where:  Through Saturday, February 5; participating downtown and South Side eateries offering fixed-priced lunches and dinners. Reservations recommended.

Why Go: Do you need an excuse to go out and eat? Great prices, great food.

5.   NY JAZZ REPERTORY ORCHESTRA

When/Where: Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University, 420 E. Packer Ave., Bethlehem; Saturday, February 5, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Original compositions from some of LA's and NY's  best composers plus a tribute to Johnny Richards, composer/arranger of the boisterous music of Stan Kenton's 1950s big band.
