1. Zoo in Paradise CANCELLED
Where/When: Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville; 6-10 p.m. Saturday.
Why go: Parrotheads, penguins and music by Parrotbeach, the Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band. All proceeds benefit the zoo’s wildlife conservation efforts.

2. Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree
Where/When: Macungie Memorial Park; Friday through Sunday; Friday Night Cruise through Macungie area, 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Why Go: More than 1,500 street rods and custom cars on display; Henry “The Fonz” Winkler meets, greets and signs autographs 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday; car parts flea market, kids’ activities, monster trucks, live music and a dance party.

3. Hawk Mountain Art Show & Sale
Where/When: Hawk Mountain Visitor Center, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine.
Why Go: For the birds. Wildlife and nature artists sell their works and demonstrate their techniques to benefit Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.

4. Groovy ’60s Dance Party with The Large Flowerheads
Where/When:., 1221 S. Front St., Allentown; 8-11 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: Psychedelic, man. Break out the go-go boots, mini skirts and DayGlo and party with the classic rock band from Bethlehem.

5. Polynesian Pop CANCELLED
Where/When: ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, Bethlehem; 11 a.m.-midnight, Saturday. Hula lessons at 11 a.m.; Ugly Hawaiian Shirt Contest at 6 p.m.; Dr. Ho’s Orchestrotic performs lounge music from the 1950s/1960s at 7:30 p.m. in the Musicfest Café.
Why Go: A whole day of fun, music and art for young and old with a Pacific pop culture twist.
