Leaky Roof Causing Havoc at Municipal Building

The leaking roof has caused mold on the outside of the building and damage on the inside. Commissioners want the roof fixed.

The roof of the Salisbury Township Municipal Building is leaking and the damage that it's causing has commissioners looking for a fix.

Water damage is noticeable inside the building, specifically outside the meeting room.

Commissioner Joanne Ackerman said a township resident pointed out mold growing on the outside of the building.

At a recent commissioners meeting, President James Brown told Township Manager Randy Soriano that the roof should be torn apart and fixed to correct the problem once and for all.

Commissioners did not specify how or when the roof would be fixed or what costs are involved.
