Renninger Home is Salisbury's Deck the House Winner

We'll learn Friday if the Salisbury Township home was named one of the 24 nationwide finalists, bringing Salisbury Township School District one step closer to winning $100,000.

Wayne and Alayne Renninger's house has been named the Salisbury Township winner in Patch’s national .

Wayne Renninger, of 1240 S. Fairview Road in Salisbury Township, swore this would be the year he finally cut back on their annual over-the-top light display. His resolve didn't last long. He still had to climb a ladder numerous times, but this time he didn't outline the roof with lights.

The Renningers are one of 397 winners named from across the nation. Their winning entry has been forwarded to a national Patch judge, who will select 24 finalists Friday.
