Keys to Awesomeness: Studious and hardworking,  Carolyn Boulay is a straight-A student who's always had an interest in English. When her teacher, Beth Prokesch, offered students the opportunity to sign up for a spelling bee, Carolyn jumped at the chance. After Carolyn won the school's competition, she advanced to the regional finals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee held March 24 at Northampton Community College. The competition included students from more than 60 schools. Carolyn said she was very nervous, but had practiced and tried her best. She came in 23rd place--- outspelling more than half the students in the spelling bee finals.
