Salisbury student receives first place in state Future Business Leaders of America competition.

School: Salisbury High School and Lehigh Career and Technical Institute

Accomplishment: This tech-savvy senior placed first in computer applications in the Future Business Leaders of America state competition.

Keys to Awesomeness: Highly motivated and passionate about technology, Markley joined the LCTI chapter of Future Business Leaders of America in 10th grade. His interest in computers and technology intensified as he continued taking courses at LCTI. Markley is hardworking, conscientious and detail-oriented. In previous years, he has competed in the competition in different areas. For both the regional and state competition this year, he completed a 90-minute test on computer applications. Markley will be going to Orlando at the end of June to compete in the national FBLA competition. In addition to the FBLA competition, Markley also placed second in the district SkillsUSA competition.
