You are right, marijuana is not like alcohol. If I were sitting next to you while I was high, and you annoyed the piss out of me by complaining about smokers in place that obviously allows smoking, I would just laugh it off or move away. I could smoke all night, and my mood would not change. If I were to drink, and keep drinking, eventually I would get confrontational, and we would be fighting. So, the guy next to you drinking can indeed effect you.

They will usually look favorably upon any candidate for lower taxes and smaller government.At least that is my understanding.
