Where/When: Support the Lehigh Valley’s only GLBTA theatre company in this original production, running Friday, May 13, at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at 2 p.m., and May 15, at 6 p.m., at the Metropolitan Church of the Lehigh Valley, 930 N. Fourth St., Allentown.

Why go: Experience love and lost in this multi-generational tale written by local playwright Brian McDermott.

 3. SteelStacks Arts and Artsquest Market

Where/When: Fresh air and old charms abound at the grand opening of the weekly arts and antiques market on Saturday, May 14, from 12 p.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday, May 15, from 12 p.m.-6 p.m., in the Air Products Town Square at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.

Why go: Not only will you be able to shop the goods, but there will be antique appraisals, live music, wine tasting, and more.

Cost: Free to wander.

4. Bethlehem Bach Festival

Where/When: Experience the exhilaration of Bach’s Mass in B Minor, performed by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, at 2:30 p.m. (part 1) and 4:30 p.m. (part 2), at Lehigh University, Packer Memorial Church, 18 University Drive, Bethlehem.

Why go: The beauty of Bach merge with the beauty of choral performance. Like “Glee” goes classical.

 5. Lehigh Valley Comic Con

Where/When: Let your inner child loose at the Lehigh Valley Comic Con, Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Schnecksville Fire Company, Route 309 and Packhouse Road, Schnecksville.

Why go: Sometimes, you just want to play with toys. You’ll also meet visiting artists and have a chance to win prizes.
