Local Actor Dane DeHaan Stars in 'The Place Beyond the Pines' With Ryan Gosling

Epic crime drama 'The Place Beyond the Pines' featuring Lehigh Valley native Dane DeHaan will be in most theaters Friday.

A new crime drama starring Emmaus High School graduate Dane DeHaan has opened in select cities and will be shown widely starting Friday.

"The Place Beyond the Pines" includes Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, who play DeHaan's parents, and Bradley Cooper.

Examiner.com features an interview with DeHaan in which he says,

The interview includes DeHaan talking about his training as an actor, his mentors, how he develops a character and what it was like working with Cooper and Mendes in this latest movie.

DeHaan, a Zionsville native, graduated from North Carolina School of the Arts in 2008.

which is currently in production. The movie is scheduled to open in May 2014 and stars Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Sally Field, Dane DeHaan, Andrew Garfield, Martin Sheen, Felicity Jones.

DeHaan had a cameo in Steven Speilberg's epic "Lincoln" last year. He can also be seen in "Kill Your Darlings" with Daniel Radcliff of "Harry Potter" fame.
