'Mob Wives' TV Star Coming to Sands Casino

Reality TV star Ramona Rizzo to appear at Vision Bar at the Sands Casino on Feb. 8.

 

Ramona Rizzo, from the hit show "Mob Wives," will make a celebrity guest appearance at Vision Bar at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem on Friday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m., the Vision Entertainment Group announced.

The reality show, which airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on VH1, chronicles the lives of six Staten Island women whose family members are incarcerated for mob-related crimes. Currently in its third season, "Mob Wives" draws over 1.6 million viewers per episode.

Rizzo is no stranger to the mob lifestyle, as she is the granddaughter of the infamous Benjamin Ruggiero, a.k.a. Lefty Guns, who was played by Al Pacino in the movie Donnie Brasco. Growing up in Staten Island, N.Y., she shared a Mafia upbringing with cast members Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano, daughter of  “Sammy the Bull” Gravano.

Rizzo is also an advocate for In Arms Reach, a charity that mentors kids who have parents who are incarcerated. She is also a gay rights activist. She was on the cover of Odyssey Magazine and served as a host of the Odyssey Awards in 2012.
