Peeps Fest Runs Through New Year's

Get ready to celebrate the famous marshmallow chick for the next three days during Peeps Fest in South Side Bethlehem.

Peeps Fest at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks on the South Side of Bethlehem is the place to be this week for the younger set.

A celebration of the celebrated marshmallow confection made by Just Born in Bethlehem, Peeps Fest runs from noon to 5 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 31, with a wide array of activities, culminating  with fireworks and the dropping of a giant Peep.

Most Peeps Fest activities are free and others are moderately priced ($5, in many instances), making this not only the place to be for kids, but also an affordable family outing which parents will undoubtedly welcome, especially right after the expenses of the Christmas holidays.
