How did Lehigh Valley's Amanda Seyfried derail Anne Hathaway's plan for what to wear on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards?

The 2013 Oscar ceremony is history but there's still buzz about what the stars wore on the red carpet and why.

Turns out Lehigh Valley star Amanda Seyfried may have caused her "Les Miserables" co-star Anne Hathaway to make a hasty last-minute gown selection change.

Allentown native Seyfried looked stunning in a pale appliqued dress by British designer Alexander McQueen.

Reports now say Hathaway saw a photo of the gown Seyfried planned to wear and then changed her choice because the gowns were so similar.

Hathaway said she was planning to wear a Valentino gown up until just three hours before the awards ceremony. She ended up wearing a pale pink Prada gown with chest darts that accentated her, um, nipples. Hathaway issued an apology about the gown controversy after the event.

She also ended up winning the award for best supporting actress.
