Gas prices in Pennsylvania have nudged a tiny bit higher this week, which may not be a good sign with the Fourth of July coming next week, according to AAA’s fuel report. July is traditionally when gas prices make their summer-time jump, the report says.

In Pennsylvania, the average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.505 per gallon, up one-tenth of a cent from a week ago, down 1 cent from a month ago and 13.1 cents higher than a year ago

In the Lehigh Valley, the average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.461 per gallon, two-tenths of a cent lower than a week ago, 3.5 cents lower than a month ago and 16.3 cents higher than a year ago.

Locally, according to gasbuddy.com, the lowest area prices are at Daisy Hill Market on E. Susquehanna Street ($3.39 per gallon) and Giant on Emmaus Ave., near 31st Street ($3.41 per gallon).
