Lehigh Valley Hospital Gave Fatal Dose, Report Says

Doctors used apparently faulty blood sugar test strips on patient with low blood sugar, report says.

A state Department of Health reports says a transplant patient at died after being administered an apparent double dose of insulin, according to a report in the Morning Call.  Doctors had apparently used faulty blood sugar test strips on the patient, who had extremely low blood sugar levels, the report says.
