During the filming, John Ennis and his wife, Lisa, moved into a nearby condo. The majority of the furnishings in the film was the owner's belongings, including fine-art photographer Lisa's artwork.

The home does come with its quirks. The Ennises report that many tourists come by the home to take a photo or two before moving on.
