Rossi's Pizza is a Small, Friendly Italian Eatery

Most customers seemed to call in their order for delivery or pick-up at Rossi's Pizza, a small, Italian eatery on Lehigh Street.

Rossi’s Pizza is a small Italian eatery tucked away on Lehigh Street, or State Avenue, just over the Salisbury Township border in Emmaus. It has a few tables for in-house dining, but it seems that most people call in their orders for delivery or pick-up. The owner is incredibly nice (and incredibly Italian, which is always a good sign). When I walked in, he said a warm hello and handed me a printed menu.

When I looked over the menu, I realized that Rossi’s is anything but small.  They’ve got a long list of pizzas, including specialties like barbeque chicken, taco and chicken bacon ranch. They also offer a ton of different appetizers such as broccoli cheese bites and potato skins, about a dozen salads, an assortment of wraps, burgers, subs (both hot and cold) and strombolis. They also feature a kids menu and a full list of dinner entrées of pasta (your favorite is probably on the menu), seafood, chicken and veal .

And if you’re looking to entertain, Rossi’s offers party trays and catering.

My meal: A slice of cheesesteak stuffed pizza and an order of garlic knots. The pizza was two layers of crust stuffed with steak, cheese and marinara sauce. It was pretty awesome. And the garlic knots were a great deal (6 for $1.99) and made with fresh garlic and parmesan cheese. I’m definitely heading back to try some of their other items. For now, I’d give it a 5/5.
