Too Hot to Cook? It's Restaurant Week in Allentown

Ten downtown Allentown restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week, which runs through Saturday.

Does the heat have you down and out? Is it too hot to cook in the house? Tired of grilling on the barbecue?

Well, rejoice diners! It's Restaurant Week in Allentown.

Downtown Allentown Restaurant Week kicked off Sunday and runs through Saturday.

Participating restaurants include:

  • Aci Halal Turkish Restaurant
  • Allentown Brew Works
  • Bada Bingg 
  • Bay Leaf
  • Cosmopolitan
  • Kow Thai
  • Mariam’s Restaurant
  • Pasta Alla Rosa
  • Sangria
  • Winston’s 

Diners may pick up dining passports at participating restaurants.  Diners will receive a stamp in their passport each time they dine with a participating restaurant.

Once a diner has received four stamps, they may enter to win one of two downtown Allentown gift baskets by leaving their passport with one of the participating restaurants.  

The two gift baskets include the following: admission to the Allentown Art Museum, a gift certificate to Cosmopolitan, tickets to America On Wheels, tickets to Miller Symphony Hall, a framed 24” by 18” print by Ann Schlegal, a case of craft beer from the Allentown Brew Works and an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn with breakfast.

Downtown Allentown Restaurant Week offers something for every taste: traditional brew pub food, Mediterranean; Jamaican, Ethiopian, Asian, Turkish and more.

Diners are reminded that parking is free after 5 p.m. at the Spiral Deck at 8th and Linden Streets. Street meters are free after 6 p.m. Some restaurants also offer complimentary valet parking.
