Amanda Seyfried Wants Juicy Role in 'Mean Girls' Musical

Lehigh Valley actress Amanda Seyfried, whose first movie was 'Mean Girls,' wants to play a juicer role if the story is adapted into a stage musical.

Allentown native Amanda Seyfried, fresh off a big role in "Les Miserables," wants to play queen bee Regina if a rumored musical production of "Mean Girls" comes to fruition.

Seyfried's film debut came in the 2004 "Mean Girls" movie written by Tina Fey and starring Lindsay Lohan.

Seyfriend is quoted in a recent Allure magazine interview saying she "desperately" wants to play the main "mean girl" in a stage musical version of the film.
