1-2 Inches of Snow for Salisbury Monday

The first day of spring is almost here but winter won't give up as another storm heads our way Monday into Tuesday.

The winter of 2012-13 just won't quit and looks poised to bring us more snow, freezing rain and rain on Monday and Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 2 p.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Tuesday for one to two inches of snow plus a possible small accumulation of ice.

  • Monday: Snow likely before 2 p.m., then rain and snow. High near 35. Snow accumulation of one to two inches possible.
  • Monday Night:Rain, snow, and sleet before midnight, then rain between midnight and 5 a.m., then rain or freezing rain after 5 a.m. Low around 32.
  • Tuesday: A chance of rain or freezing rain before 8 a.m., then a chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 42.
