Big Winter Storm Tracking South of Lehigh Valley

A storm that could dump a foot of snow on some Mid-Atlantic states looks like it will hit hardest just south of Pennsylvania.

Forecasters who said late last week that an "atmospheric bomb" could drop one to two feet of snow on the Lehigh Valley now expect the impending storm to have the biggest impact on states such as Maryland and Virginia.

We should see some rain and snow from the storm Wednesday, but forecasters aren't yet sure how much snow we'll get. WFMZ is forecasting one to three inches.

The storm is "blasting" parts of the Midwest and Plains today and tomorrow, according to Accuweather, which says the snowfall in the Washington, D.C. area could be "immobilizing" when it arrives mid week.
