Watch Out for Icy Spots Into Saturday

The Lehigh Valley including Salisbury Township is under a freezing rain advisory until 10 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

WFMZ says the storm could affect your commute home today with snow, rain and ice arriving later this afternoon.

We could wake up to an icy glaze tomorrow.

The Weather Service says:

  • Scattered wintry precipitation today could begin between 6-9 p.m. -- possibly as a combination of light snow and sleet
  • Precipitation should become widespread overnight as light freezing rain/drizzle and continue into mid to late Saturday morning.
  • All untreated surfaces will become icy overnight.

Precipitation is expected to change to rain Saturday and rain could be heavy at times.
