Meet Eddie Munster at Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum Saturday

Celebrity collector Butch Patrick of 'Munsters' fame will speak at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum on Saturday.

Butch Patrick, better known as Eddie Munster of 1960s TV hit "The Munsters," is in for a busy week in the Lehigh Valley.

Patrick will throw out the first pitch as the Iron Pigs start their 2013 season at Coca-Cola Park on Thursday night.

On Saturday, you can meet Patrick at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum in Allentown. He'll talk about his experiences as "the Celebrity Collector" gathering Beatles memorabilia, animation art and treasures from the Space Race.

Patrick will be featured as part of the museum's free History Expo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can learn why history matters. The expo drew 1,500 people last year.

  • 40 local historical societies
  • Civil War encampment
  • Old-time toys, games, crafts and demonstrations

Admission is free. Kids get a free hot dog and beverage.

The museum is located at 432 W. Walnut Street in Allentown.  

Parking is available in the rear of the museum, on the street, and in nearby lots.
