Snow and Sleet Expected Tuesday Night

A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected tonight through Wednesday that will make travel conditions difficult in the Lehigh Valley.

The Lehigh Valley is  now under a winter weather advisory tonight through 11 a.m. Wednesday. Between 1-3 inches of snow is expected to fall beginning sometime after 10 p.m., according to WFMZ.

There's a chance of rain and snow before 10 p.m. followed by rain, snow, freezing rain and sleet.

The Lehigh Valley could get about an inch of snow beginning late Tuesday night into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

On Wednesday, snow, possibly mixing with rain, will begin after 10 a.m. The high will be near 39 degrees.

Daytime highs will remain well above freezing until Friday.
