Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: A Day of Remembrance, Celebration and Service” is free and open to families in the community, and includes age-appropriate educational sessions, discussions, and musical performances.

Carmen Twillie Ambar, president of Cedar Crest College, is the keynote speaker on “The Unknown Heroes: People Behind the Civil Rights Movement”.

This program is appropriate for all ages; an adult must accompany all children. Those who are interested are invited to bring a donation of a birthday party item, in celebration of Dr. King's birthday - these items will be donated to the Northampton Area Food Bank.
