Salisbury Township School District will be the site of another first for Lehigh Valley Students: A TEDx Event!

On Saturday, November 17 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the High School Auditorium, SHS students will be participating in a TEDx presentation.  TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and is devoted to the concept of "Ideas Worth Spreading."  It began in 1984 with two annual conferences in California and has since grown to include many satellite versions, including TEDx Youth Day, which is where our students come in.  Salisbury has been granted a license to participate in the TEDx Youth Day and host an event which celebrates student speakers.  Our students will have conversations about a range of topics centered on the theme "Sustaining Innovation."

Please visit  http://www.tedxsalisburyhighschool.com to learn more, including a list of the student speakers and their topics.

The number of tickets is limited to 100.  Please contact Jen Brinson or Kelly Wetherhold at Salisbury High School for tickets and information.  Come out and celebrate our student speakers, and relish in the fact that they are the first students in the Lehigh Valley area to participate in a TED event.
