The Swain School, 1100 S. 24th St., Salisbury Township, welcomes visitors to an Admissions Open House, to encourage interested families to learn more about its college preparatory program for children in preschool (age 3) - 8th grade.
Visitors are invited to attend on Tuesday, March 12, at 6 p.m. Head of School Todd Stansbery, as well as current Swain families and staff, will be available to give tours and to provide information.
Swain is a co-educational, independent school offering an education of exceptional quality to over 300 students who come from 23 area school districts. Small class sizes, an integrated curriculum, state-of-the-art technology resources, and a thorough program of character education, science, languages, arts and athletics are features of the school, which was founded in 1929. Tuition assistance is available to qualified families, as are specific scholarships (based on merit and/or financial need) for students newly enrolled in 5th-8th grades.
