Taste of Easton Walking Tour & Happy Hour – How Food Revitalizes a City

Easton - How Food Revitalizes a City
RESCHEDULED: August 7th, 2013

Food has long been known to unite people. In the case of Easton, PA, local food and food culture has sparked an  unprecedented revitalization of over $100 million per square mile in six  years. Join us for an unforgettable tour and tasting showcasing the breadth, depth and variety of food-driven  initiatives that have re-launched Easton as an arts, culture and tourist  destination.  The remarkable variety of food and food-adjacent initiatives, new partnerships and associated  developments will be highlighted.

Walking Tour will highlight: Easton Farmers’ Market – grower-only food and festival driver, and in its 261st year, the United States’ oldest continually operating outdoor Farmer’s Market; Pomeroy’s Lofts – in the heart of Downtown; and Two Rivers Brewing Company – Easton’s first micro brewery restaurant, and critical gateway business between Downtown and adjoining residential district. After the tour, we will enjoy happy hour at Two Rivers Brewing Company.
