Donations needed at Lehigh County Humane Society

Urgent Needs:

  • Cat and kitten dry food (without red dye)
  • Cat litter
  • Smiles!

Special Items and Equipment:

  • Veterinary microscope, for use in our exam room and clinic
  • Clipper blades — sizes 40 and 10 for necessary grooming of the animals
  • Stainless steel bowls for the ISO/Hospital ward
  • Gas Gift Card — Our emergency ambulance is constantly pressed into service when rescuing sick and injured animals and transporting animals to veterinarians for medical treatment
  • Home Depot/Lowes gift card — this would allow us to purchase additional items that are GREATLY needed at our animal shelter

Medical Supplies:

  • 3″x 3″ gauze pads
  • Flea products for dogs and cats (shampoo)
  • Frontline

Animal Food and Maintenance Supplies:

  • Dry and wet canned puppy/dog and kitten/cat food (without red dye for cats)
  • Small animal food — for rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and ferrets
  • Non-cedar bedding for small animals
  • Cat litter
  • Extra large metal dog crates, new or almost new! — A place for our animals to rest as they recuperate from surgery or injury while in our clinic

  • White 8.5″ x 11″ paper for copy machine
  • Large paper clips
  • Legal size tablets
  • Rubber bands
  • Large 9″ x 11″ manila envelopes
  • Scotch tape
  • Duct tape

Cleaning Supplies:

  • Paper towels
  • Liquid laundry soap
  • Dish washer liquid
  • Window cleaner
  • Pine Sol or Lysol floor cleaner
  • Cleaning wipes
  • Air freshener and brooms
  • Trash can bags/liners
  • Hefty Contractor bags, used for cleaning in the large dog area
