The Lehigh Valley Mall is holding two unique events this holiday season so that special-needs children can enjoy visits with Santa.

Signing with Santa will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6. Children with hearing impairments will be able to share their wish lists with a Santa Claus who signs.

The mall is also holding an event called Caring Santa, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. This special time, held before the mall opens, is music-free and features dim lighting and scheduled appointments so that children who are sensitive to stimulation and have difficulty waiting in line will be able to see Santa.

Families who would like to visit Caring Santa should RSVP at www.CaringSanta.com.
