Find Answers to Tough Questions at TeenCentral.Net, ParentCentral.Net

Teens and parents can find answers to tough questions on KidsPeace's free and anonymous Websites.

Being a teenager is tough. Being the parent of a teenager, some would argue, is equally challenging.

That’s why supports two websites aimed at helping teens and parents work through difficult issues such as bullying, alcohol awareness and the stress of an increasingly demanding lifestyle.

TeenCentral.Net and ParentCentral.Net are free, anonymous websites where teenagers and parents can log on and get professional guidance on a variety of issues. Within 24 hours of posting a question, members receive answers from trained counselors and professionals.

The sites aim to make teenagers and their parents realize they are not alone. And people are taking notice of all that the sites have to offer. Both websites recently won prizes in the 14th annual Web Health Awards – ParentCentral.Net for its overall standout nature as a web-based resource and TeenCentral.Net for the Anti-Bullying League, a section of the site that was made possible through a grant from Verizon Wireless.

The Anti-Bullying League, which can also be found on ParentCentral.Net, addresses the dangers of bullying while giving teens some tools to help and lending parents understanding into the cruel nature of bullying.

The Web Health Awards, issued semi-annually, recognize the best digital health resources in the nation.

Have you been on our sites? We’d love to hear your feedback. If not, log on and work it out. You’ll be glad you did.

I have a little sign in my home that says "raising a teenager is like nailing jello to a tree". Although the oldest child I have given birth to is only 9, I have a 13 yr old I have been helping to raise for over a year. She is much more difficult then both my boys together!!!! But I wouldn't love her any more without her "drama"!!!! I will def be checking out this site to seee what help it could offer for my beautiful little hard-to-handle "drama queen" :-)

Everybody says "legalize it and tax it." That's just an oxymoron = once it is legal = youRead More can grow it in your back yard for free. Big Brother makes so much more already by enforcing the established laws, set up with the sole desire to incarcerate the addicted, that there will always be a fictional "War on Drugs."

Yes, and the person next to you drinking cannabis tea, does not effect you. The person who justRead More vaporized, does not effect you. Those hash oil tablets I just ate, won't effect you. Non-smoking means non-smoking - if there is someone smoking next to you, get out of the smoking section. You are right, marijuana is not like alcohol. If I were sitting next to you while I was high, and you annoyed the piss out of me by complaining about smokers in place that obviously allows smoking, I would just laugh it off or move away. I could smoke all night, and my mood would not change. If I were to drink, and keep drinking, eventually I would get confrontational, and we would be fighting. So, the guy next to you drinking can indeed effect you.

You fail to realize that making somthing illegal instantly makes that product very expensive on theRead More black market.......this is where crime takes hold.......Remember Al Capone and the mafia were most powerful during the prohibition of alcohol......and considering Pennsylvania garners high tax revenue from alcohol sales in state stores.....your suggestion is foolish...........This is AMERICA land of the FREE.......dont tell people how to live you dirty commie

Economics is over my head...I won't even attempt to analyze it, let alone debate on it...All I knowRead More is I make sure there is food on the table through prudent budgeting. I do want to express my excitement when the Phillies win games...Yesterday was majorly exciting with Galvis hitting that walk off home run following Kratz's whopper to tie the game!..But must the team have to wait for the last inning to do it?..Keep it up, Phillies.

Tea Party groups are all very separate with separate missions. I understand the ones targeted wereRead More seeking the tax free charitable status because their stated mission is to educate about issues. They are not an actual "political" party. They will usually look favorably upon any candidate for lower taxes and smaller government. At least that is my understanding.
