Death at Gun Club Not Accidental

Though there was no note, a deputy Lehigh County coroner ruled the death a suicide.

The death of a man who was thought to have accidentally killed himself in a gun club parking lot has been ruled a suicide, according to published reports.

Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim identified Arthur A. Lichtenwalner, 61, of Lehigh Township, Northampton County, was wounded in the abdomen and died in the parking lot of the Ranger Lake Rod and Gun Club on Quarry Street at 10:39 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene about an hour later.

Deputy Lehigh Coroner Paul Zondlo made the ruling, according to published reports.
