Fire Destroys Tombler's Bakery

Family owned business in Glendon a staple of the Easton Farmers Market.

An early morning fire destroyed  in Glendon, according to news reports.

The Express-Times reported that the fire Saturday morning wiped out the business along Industrial Drive. 

Owner Karen Drake had apparently been at the bakery Friday night, preparing hundreds of pies for this weekend's Blueberry Festival in Bethlehem. No injuries were reported.

Tombler's is a regular vendor at the Easton Farmer's Market, and the market on Saturdaywas taking donations to help the bakery. Donations can also be dropped off at the Easton Main Street Initiative offices at 35 S. 3rd Street this week.
