Mass. Woman Hurt, Cited in I-78 Exit Ramp Crash

State police say woman driving too fast for conditions when Toyota leaves roadway and crashes into guard rail in Salisbury.

A Massachusetts woman suffered a minor injury and was cited for a traffic violation when her car left an Interstate 78 exit ramp Sunday afternoon, crashed into a guard rail and came to rest partially down an embankment, police said.

Samantha M. Dandrade, 20, of Uxbridge, Mass., was on the I-78 westbound off-ramp to Cedar Crest Boulevard around 2:20pm. Before crashing into the guard rail, her 2010 Toyota Corolla left the ramp while on a curvy part of it, went through a grass median and across the on-ramp from Cedar Crest to I-78 west, a state police fax says.

Dandrade was taken by Cetronia Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for observation. Police cited her for driving too fast for conditions, the fax says. Her Toyota had to be towed.

Uxbridge is southeast of the Massachusetts town of Worcester.
