Salisbury Police Get 17th Full-Time Officer

The Board of Commissioners hires Brian Zulic of Bath as the police department's 17th full-time officer.

The Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners has hired Brian Zulic of Bath as the 17th full-time officer of the Salisbury Police Department.

Zulic, who has served in part-time police roles with the Lehighton Police Department and the Lansford Police Department, will earn $50,377.60.

"He'll do the job that we want, once he goes through our training," said Salisbury Police Chief Allen Stiles.

Zulic served in the U.S. Marine Corps beginning in 2008 and is currently serving with the Marine Reserve Artillery Unit in Reading.

Zulic graduated from Lackawanna College's Police Academy in 2009. He completed an associate's degree program in criminal justice at Lackawanna in 2011.

He will be hired as a full-time police officer after a physical and mental examination, Stiles said.
