Are you nuts? The police report states "struck from behind". Vehicle 2(Rooney) struck vehicle 1(Lugo) from behind. Driving 101- YOU are to have YOUR vehicle under control at ALL times. You should be ashamed of yourself for stating such a comment especially since there was loss of life.

You are both wrong, how about you let the investagators do thier job! We don't know what happened. So what what the Driving 101 says, if someone pulled in front of you in an instant what can you do? We just dont know and to sue someone and thier family for every penny? Really? Come on.

On other forums I heard some chatter about a vehicle driving extremely fast and cutting in and out of traffic. This person says that the vehicle who passed him and cut him off was one of the ones in the accident. This was hearsay but let the investigation do the finger pointing. May God be with these children who watched their mother die.

He was struck from behind and Rooney's car hit him, spun and hit another car so sounds to me rooney was driving like a race car driver on the highway if he caused the rear end collision and spun then. Usually a car the hits the rear end of a car pushes the front car. Or it is no more than a fender bender.
