Salisbury Police Blotter: White English Muffin Truck Blocks Traffic

OMG! Weird and unusual items reported in the Salisbury Township Police Department log.

The following information was provided by the Salisbury Township Police Department.

Fish are jumping. A caller complained on June 11 that a fisherman on the iron bridge near Country Club and Keystone roads was catching too many fish over the limit. When Salisbury police arrived, the elderly complainant said "he made a mistake."

Maybe the flying monkeys took it. A resident in the 700 block of E. Emmaus Avenue reported a Funrunner golf cart with a vanity plate that said, "Wicked Witch," was taken from the end of the driveway sometime between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. June 4.

Followed by a white cream cheese truck. A caller complained on June 2 that "a white English muffin truck" was blocking traffic at Uerberroth and Lehigh avenues. When Salisbury police arrived, the truck was gone.

Lonely poodle. A caller complained June 1 that a dog in a red pickup parked at Weils Clocks, 2200 31st. SW, "was looking distressed." When a Salisbury police officer arrived, "the poodle looked happy. The owner was getting in the vehicle. I just kept driving."
