Motorist stops to help yellow Labrador puppy who was pulled 100 yards by pickup truck, police say.
Police are investigating a report of a puppy who was injured Sunday after being dragged by a pickup truck.
Emmaus police responded to Dalton and Eagle streets at 1:42 p.m. March 4 to meet a motorist who said he saw a small yellow Labrador puppy being dragged from the truck by its collar and leash for about 100 yards. Police were told the puppy slipped its collar and rolled to the roadside.
Police said the puppy had injuries to its paws and legs. It was taken for treatment by Emmaus Animal Control to Quakertown Veterinary Clinic in Milford Township.
