Salisbury Police Blotter: Retail Thefts at the Bon-Ton

The following information was provided by the Salisbury Township Police Department.

Retail theft---Shanon Baringer, 25, of Pottsville, was arrested Aug. 28 and charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing about $220 worth of merchandise from , according to Salisbury police. Items included two dishware items, a clipboard, a bathtub bundle, a Hello Kitty purse, a blue blanket, a child's dress, a T-shirt and a sign.

Retail theft---Two girls, ages 14 and 11, from Emmaus were arrested Aug. 24 and charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing about $128 worth of merchandise from The Bon-Ton andat South Mall, police said. One of the girls' mother turned the girls in to police. The merchandise incudes a pair of pants, a pair of jeans, a pair of sunglasses, a candle, two necklaces and a bottle of nailpolish. The girls were referred to Juvenile Justice.
