"I have responded to hundreds of crashes over the past 10 years and it is amazing to see the condition of those who chose to simply buckle up compared to those who did not.  A head going through a windshield is an awful thing to see, but completely preventable.  Just take the three seconds it takes and buckle up.  It can saves months of pain sustained from an injury and even save your life," Losagio said.

Salisbury police issued the following citations to drivers who violated other sections of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code:

43 total vehicle stops
37 citations issued with 1 vehicle impounded
3 suspended drivers

1 non-insured vehicle
32 other moving and miscellaneous citations
